For Self-Drive: Requirements for foreign guests:

For chauffeur-driven, no other requirements are needed.

2. Do I have to be a member to use your service?
No, you do not have to be a member to use our service. Although, for access to exclusive deals and promos, we highly suggest that you sign up as a service.
3. Are your prices per car or per person?
Our prices are quoted per car per day.
4. I have a booking for Hertz. What do I do when I arrive at the location?
Upon arrival at our location, kindly approach our agent at the counter and show your confirmation number. Please allow our agent some time to verify your confirmation number. Once confirmed, our agent will ask you to settle the payment. After settlement, our agent shall assist you to the vehicle.
5. Where will I meet your driver at the airport?
For rentals for the airport, please proceed to our counters located at the arrival area. Please check our airport maps through the tab above.
6. What happens if I cannot find my driver?

For chauffeur-drive services arriving from the airport, kindly proceed to our airport counters. For other chauffeur services, a confirmation shall be emailed to you with the car and driver details 24 hours before your pickup time.

7. What if the flight is delayed or early?

Hertz Philippines implements a 2-hour grace period. If you are coming from a flight, please send in your flight details so to avoid cancellation of your booking. The 2-hour grace period shall start from flight arrival time.

8. We have children traveling with us, can you provide child/infant seats?

Yes, we have a child or infant seat for PHP500 per day.

9. Can I pay the driver cash?

Yes, cash payments can be paid to the driver for chauffeur-driven services.

10. Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, credit card payments are available online or you can pay via credit card through our counters.
11. I have completed a booking form, will I receive an email confirmation?

Yes, you shall receive an email confirmation for all bookings.

12. Can I make a booking on the phone?

Only bookings with complex itineraries or for On Request cars shall be made via phone.

13. How early do I need to book my car?
We suggest booking a car 7 days before your arrival date to ensure availability but bookings can be made up to 24 hours before pickup date.
14. Can I cancel my booking on the phone?

15. If I have paid by credit card and cancel my booking, will I get a refund

Yes, credit card payments can be refunded but is subject to our cancellation policies.

16. What is included in the price?

For self-drive, our prices are for the vehicle rental only. For chauffeur-driven services, prices are inclusive of fuel and exclusive of toll fees, parking fees, and personal accident insurance.

17. Do you have toll-free service phone from overseas?

We currently do not have a toll-free service phone from overseas.

18. Is an international driver’s license mandatory?

The Philippine Law allows a driver’s license from the customer’s home country for up to 90 days upon arrival to the Philippines. For driver’s licenses not written in English, kindly provide for an English translation.

20. Can I take my rental car on a ferry?
Yes, you can take rental car on a ferry but marine insurance should be purchased. Without marine insurance, the renter will be liable of any water damage or any damage to the vehicle due to transporting via ferry.
21. Are car rentals affected by number coding in Manila?

Yes, car rentals are also subject to number coding but Hertz provides a replacement vehicle if your assigned vehicle will be affected by the number coding. You may pick up the vehicle at our counter in Somerset Olympia Makati or arrange for delivery of the vehicle (subject to delivery charge).
